Detoxsal Ibogaine Drug Rehabilitation

Drug addiction is like a plague on the world, with very few people unlocking the secrets to truly helping people quit. It seems that after all these decades of drugs ripping through many of our family members and friends, finally an answer has been discovered. That answer is called Ibogaine. Ibogaine is from the West African herb called Iboga which for centuries was used in spiritual practices. Recently it was discovered to stop withdrawal symptoms within 20 minutes of administering the drug. Although Ibogaine has not been approved by the FDA yet, it is available in 30 countries with staggering success.

Detoxsal is a lavish drug rehabilitation center in the gorgeous pacific coast of Central America. Along with a highly trained team of physicians administering Ibogaine, they also consult with the client on a psychological and deeply emotional level to not only treat the symptoms but to also discover the root cause for the inner struggles.

Detoxsal is a five day drug rehab treatment instead of the saturated idea of 28 days like other rehab clinics. The reason being is that with Ibogaine, drug cravings stop immediately and last for 24 months. Keep in mind however that Ibogaine will bring the client back into a “pre-addicted” state of mind, meaning you will once again be at peace with yourself. Naturally, this comes with the reality that if one were to do drugs again, it could be dangerous since your body is no longer tolerant to a high consumption.

On the first day at Detoxsal, you will go through a battery of health tests and psychological evaluation. You will also be given a very small treatment of Ibogaine to determine your tolerance level. At that point, the medical staff will give the patient the Ibogaine treatment based on their height and weight.

Keep in mind that addicts come from all walks of life and have various agrees of addiction and of course are addicted to different drugs. Ibogaine is especially designed to treat opiates such as heroine, cocaine, oxycontin and others.

If you are an addict or perhaps a family member of yours is an addict, the question you have to ask yourself is…Are you ready to finally do something about it? And if so, what will you do? There are a million different drug rehabs and they all claim to have success. But if that were true, then why would there be such a high failure rate? The truth of the matter is that one you become addicted to a drug, it is nearly impossible to quit permanently without something that shocks your system. Ibogaine quite literally stops your cravings instantly. This is absolutely the key because “talking” about drugs and why you use drugs will only do so much. But if you have this incredible urge that keeps pressing on you, telling you to use over and over, no matter how hard you try, you’re going to want to do it. Being addicted to opiates in particular is like being addicted to breathing air. This is what non drug addicts just can’t understand. They say, “Why don’t you just quit!” The non drug addict doesn’t understand that you can’t just quit. Ibogaine will take those urges away once and for all.

Drug or alcohol rehab can save the life of an addict without question. That said, who is there to help the family members deal with their unresolved emotions toward the addict and subsequent damage that their family endured? Addiction has a talent for wreaking havoc on the lives of the addict’s entire family. It’s a common misconception to believe that drug and/or alcohol abuse only affect the abuser. In fact, addiction is a family disease.

Parents of addicts will often have anger and trust issues toward their child that remain after they leave drug or alcohol rehab as a result of things that happened before they were admitted. Children of drug addicts or alcoholics will also often harbor resentment towards their parents for pre-rehab occurrences, including feeling neglected or unloved by their parent, or feeling forced to grow up too quickly and be the responsible person in the household when their parent was unable.

Family Counseling in Drug or Alcohol Rehab

The first and most effective way to heal as a family and be better equipped to handle your loved one’s return from drug or alcohol rehab is to regularly attend family counseling sessions at the treatment facility. Family therapy sessions can be very enlightening for all involved as to what drove the individual to start abusing drugs or alcohol in the first place. It’s equally important for the family to understand the underlying issues that spurred the addiction as the addict him/herself. With that understanding will often come compassion, and with a skilled counselor navigating the discussion, the family member’s can learn to repurpose their initial feelings of anger and resentment to those of love and support.

Al-Anon and Nar-Anon

An additional huge resource for family members of addicts about to leave drug or alcohol rehab is Al-Anon and Nar-Anon. Al-Anon and Nar-Anon are support groups for family and friends of loved ones with alcohol and drug problems, respectively. These are networks of people who’ve had their lives touched by addiction that share their personal experiences with the intention of providing support and hope to others going through the same thing. Both of these programs follow the 12 step principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous to provide comfort to the family members and also empower them to provide understanding and encouragement to the addict in their life.

The Classic Signs of Alcohol And Drug Addiction

Different drugs affect the body in different ways but the symptoms of addiction are exactly the same regardless of drug-type. As drugs gain more control over the body and mind, and as they exert more control over an individual’s life, the journey which begins as substance abuse transforms into drug addiction. Because of their biased perspective, it is all too common for the unfortunate person experiencing this process to deny the enormity of their problem. Whether it is for you or for someone you care for, familiarize yourself with the common signs and symptoms of Alcohol And Drug Addiction to determine if a problem exists.

Drug abuse is how an addiction begins. Following are the signs that will tell you that abuse is taking place. Is the person in question disregarding their responsibilities at home, work or school? Poor performance at work and at school and the neglect of family members are clear signs of this. Is drug use causing problems with the law? Examples include driving while intoxicated, stealing to support the habit or being arrested for causing trouble while high. Are drugs causing problems with close relationships? Fighting with a spouse, partner or relatives, a discontented boss at work and losing good friends are examples.

Drug abuse is bad but it gets much worse when it turns into a full-scale addiction. Here are the signs to look for: When more of a drug needs to be consumed to feel the same physical effects that smaller amounts used to achieve then a drug tolerance has been formed. An increasing drug tolerance is a classic sign of addiction. Another classic sign is when a user needs to consume drugs to avoid experiencing physical withdrawal symptoms like nauseousness, insomnia, and feelings of restlessness, anxiousness and depression. Also, when much time is spent, not just using drugs, but thinking about them, planning to obtain them and recovering from them then the situation has taken a major turn for the worse. Is the person in question using more drugs than planned or do they feel powerless to stop using? Are once-enjoyed activities such as socializing with friends and family, the pursuit of hobbies and enjoying life in general becoming abandoned? The final sign is when the user continues to consume drugs despite the fact that they know they’re being hurt by them. All of these are signs that an addiction is present.

Whether it is you or someone you love, the first step to solve a drug problem is to admit that one exists. Taking this step requires guts but every addict is capable of this. It is crucial to know that, no matter what, a successful recovery is always attainable. Don’t attempt to recover alone. Find support among family members, friends, people who share your spiritual faith, recovered drug addicts, therapists and rehabilitation providers. Recovery is so much easier when you have someone who can comfort you and encourage you. You, or your loved one, can still enjoy a fulfilling life without drugs or alcohol. It’s never too late!
